Fortunate Set Backs

           Lord Lewis Grenville’s carefree days of sailing are over when his twin brother falls into danger. In Lewis’s quest to save his brother, he ruins a girl of the ton. He soon finds she requires a gentle hand after suffering years of abuse from her father. They elope to save her from her father’s hand and along the way, Lewis is determined to show her he is not the terror she paints him. But can he remain patient with her on the road to Gretna Green while in the back of his mind he knows his brother suffers further for this set back?

           Lady Cecilia Almond’s only desire is to be rescued from an abusive parent. After enduring years under her father’s hand, and taking a final betrayal by her sister, Cilia believes she must keep Lewis away from her heart in order to survive. But when he creates foreign emotions she cannot ignore, she must accept him and the change in her plans, or suffer in fear constantly wondering when or if he, too, will reveal a deceit.

A series of seemingly unfortunate events are not so unfortunate after all.
